This year began with some unexpected challenges, but we pulled through together, and we feel very blessed for all that we have :)

It's time to share in the holiday spirit.  We're very happy to see more options becoming available to help us have a greener Christmas.  Along with having properly recycled our old, broken incandescent Christmas tree lights, and now enjoying beautifully bright, colorful, and super energy-efficient LEDs, we'll be sending out eco-friendly recycled greeting cards.

We were very pleased with the lovely samples we received from MyGoodGreetings.com, a company that specializes in beautiful, customizable greeting cards, that are green, from the ground up.  Everything from Christmas cards, Hanukkah greetings, birth announcements, wedding announcements, thank you cards, party invitations, and address labels, customized with your own photos, can be produced by their Bay Area Certified Green Business printer.  I really enjoyed navigating the MyGoodGreetings.com website.  It's very easy to find the category you're looking for, and all of their lovely designs can been viewed together on one page.

The samples we received are printed on sturdy, FSC Certified recycled card stock, and the colors and print are bright and crisp.  Even with purchasing Green-e certified renewable power offset credits, MyGoodGreetings.com offers products that are very price competitive with many of the popular custom photo product printers on the Web, like Shutterfly.com; a conventional printer and online storage site, that we used before, for things like our birth announcements, Christmas, and thank you cards.  We'll be glad to switch our greeting card printing needs over to MyGoodGreetings.com.
